escott
"Yeah, and i'm the child here."
Anyone could see thatNameWhile the actual name of "Escott" is neither a real word, nor has a definition in the dictionary, the name itself has some meaning behind it. The prefix "es" comes from Latin, indicating movement away from. Meanwhile, the rest of his name was figured out by his parents before they were separated. He holds the name quite dearly, as his last piece of them.
NicknameOn occasion, Escott is referred to as "Scotty" or "Essy."
AgeAS it seems, no one - not even Escott himself - knows exactly how old he is. However, it is estimated that he is somewhere around between seven and ten in dog years.
BirthdayEscott's birthday is January 26.
his pastEscott grew up in a family that could be seen as average. He had a mother who loved and cared for him, and a father that worked hard to provide. His father was never home much, but he loved his family all the same. Escott was with a babysitter when his life shattered in front of him. His mother had passed away from a reason that remains unknown to him. His father was never the same after that. Though his son was still young, Escott's father was quick to blame the young canine to the point that their neighbors became concerned. Months of blame had been endured by the time Escott was saved. He has never seen his father since. Something had changed within his, though. He was not the same. Though he still acted like a child, doctors diagnosed it as a result of the mental trauma. Though much time has passed since - more than enough for him to return to what can be considered "normal" - he has not improved. By this point, it is not suspected that he ever will.

Are you missing parts?Theme songsBoth of Escott's theme songs hold quite a bit of meaning, both of which are quite similar. The first, Here Without You by 3 Doors Down seems to refer to a loss, as if there is a piece missing from the speaker. In Escott, this missing piece represents the child-like innocence that is stolen from an individual as they mature and grow into society. Escott lost this innocence too early in life, earlier than most, which is why such a song helps develop him. Meanwhile, the song Meant to Live by Switchfoot is rather self-explanatory. It very simply explains how someone is meant for things that are unforeseen and go undone due to whatever the reason might be. For whatever reason, though, the individual doesn't fill the shoes of their predetermined worth and use of self.
speciesEscott is a canine with the exact species being a blue merle aussie.
